Board Operator

Sports Radio 1430 The Buzz is looking for a driven and motivated part time producer to help cover some of the biggest events in sports. Responsibilities include in-studio producing/board-oping including events like the Tulsa Drillers, Tulsa 66ers, Tulsa Women’s Basketball, and High School Football. MUST be able to work some evenings and weekends. On-air work is included with scoreboard updates as well as co-hosting the High School Football Scoreboard. We are looking to fill this vacancy IMMEDIATELY and willing to train and prepare you for this exciting opportunity.

CCM & E Tulsa is looking for a Program Director for Oklahoma’s Best New Country 106-1 The Twister (KTGX-FM).  Candidate should be a highly motivated, contemporary-minded leader.

Required Skills

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Direct and monitor stations programming and activities in conformance with FCC rules and regulations, company policy and applicable federal, state and local laws.
  • Manage music, promotions, talent and programming content on-air, on the brand’s mobile & desktop website, and mirrored elements on the iHeart Radio 106-1 The Twister Streaming station.
  • Coordinate and localize syndicated content, as well as manage local FT & PT on-air talent. 
  • Creatively package, image and promote the brand.
  • Oversee planning and execution of station events, including concerts.
  • Manage on-line and social networking content with on-air talent.
  • Create strategies to meet and exceed digital goals for the brand.

Required Experience

  • Minimum 5 years experience as Program Director in a similar format, preferably in a highly competitive market environment.
  • Deep working and practical Knowledge of G SelectorTM, and the digital operating system, RCSTM NexGen preferred.
  • Experience in developing successful digital strategies to drive website audience activity and social network engagement. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong skills with MicrosoftTM operating systems and Microsoft “OfficeTMSuite”
  • Ability to multi-task, collaborate and coordinate projects across multiple departments. 
  • Knowledge of all FCC rules and regulations.
